Sketch your pneumatic system schematic

Add symbols, arrange them in order (air preparation → valve → cylinder), and send them with your request — it helps us understand faster exactly what you need. The symbols follow the DIN ISO 1219-1 standard, not invented — simplified only for size, not for construction. This is not a precise CAD tool.

What each symbol means (DIN ISO 1219-1)

This tool only places symbols — it does NOT draw the tubing automatically. The exact model is chosen by pressure, size and application — send us the list and we'll match it to specific products from stock.

Compressor

The generic ISO 1219 energy-source symbol (circle + open triangle) — the compressor is the energy source, not a pneumatic component downstream.

FRL bloks (Air Combination)

Filter (diamond + dotted line + drain funnel) – Regulator (square + two-way arrow + adjustability arrow + relief path) – Lubricator (empty diamond), enclosed by a dashed line = an "Air combination" unit.

5/2 vārsts

5 ports: 4/2 on top (to the cylinder), 1 bottom-centre (supply), 5/3 exhausts with "T" closed ends.

Cylinder (double-acting)

Body + piston (filled bar) + a rod running from the piston through the chamber and out (not a detached stub). Two ports at the bottom on both ends.

Sensor (cylinder position)

A contact-switch symbol — a SIGNAL, not an air line.

2/2 vārsts (ieslēgts/izslēgts)

The simplest valve — either passes or blocks (T-shaped closure). Good for shutting off the main air supply.

3/2 vārsts

3 ports, 2 positions — the standard choice for controlling a single-acting cylinder.

Single-acting cylinder

An internal spring returns the rod — needs only ONE air port. Cheaper, but a weaker return stroke than a double-acting one.

Rotary actuator

Rotates (rather than slides) — for gates/dampers/turn assemblies, typically 90°-180°.

Check valve

Passes air in only ONE direction — a ball/seat symbol. Good for preventing backflow / holding pressure.

Flow-control valve (speed controller)

An adjustable restrictor (top) + a free-flow check valve (bottom) — throttles in ONE direction, passes freely in the OTHER. The standard cylinder speed controller.

Ātrās izplūdes vārsts

Lets the cylinder’s exhaust air escape LOCALLY, not back through the long tube and valve — speeds up the motion.

Silencer

Fitted on the valve exhaust port — reduces the noise of escaping compressed air. Cheap, often forgotten, but essential for workplace safety/noise.

Vacuum ejector

A Venturi constriction turns compressed air into vacuum — no moving parts.

Pressure gauge

Circle + needle = a pressure indicator. Handy on the FRL outlet to see the working pressure.

Pressure switch (adjustable)

Switches an ELECTRICAL contact when pressure crosses the set threshold — a signal to the PLC/relay, not an air line.

Shuttle valve (OR logic)

Two inlet ports, one outlet — whichever signal is first/stronger passes through. Good for two-hand safety / OR-logic circuits.

K Relay

An electrical-schematic coil, not a pneumatic symbol — simplified (2 terminals, rectangle). (an electrical part, not a pneumatic component).

PLC PLC

Has no unique ISO symbol of its own — always a labelled rectangle with I/O lines. (not a pneumatic product).

FM Flow meter

Not in the ISO1219 4-page symbol table itself — the widely-accepted instrument-"bubble" convention (circle + letters), like the pressure gauge.
